Ana received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Carleton University in her hometown of Ottawa, Canada. Her study abroad semesters in Berlin and Bologna contributed to her appreciation of architecture that is rooted in its context and reflective of its surroundings. Her Master’s thesis pursued these ideas further and investigated the relationship between culture and contemporary architecture in Mexico.
Ana worked mostly on heritage, commercial, and institutional projects in Ottawa before relocating to Seattle to join babienko ARCHITECTS pllc. Ana is a LEED Accredited Professional and is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
