Rebecca received her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, with a semester abroad in Barcelona, before moving back to her hometown, Seattle. Her love of the city and climate have driven an interest in place-specific, environmentally-sensitive architecture that is expressed from initial siting all the way through materiality and detailing.
Prior to joining Babienko, Rebecca worked on several multi-family projects around Seattle, including a project pursuing the Living Building Pilot Program.
Outside of work, Rebecca loves hiking, having hiked the PCT and several other smaller thru hikes, rafting, and backcountry skiing.
